1)     What are the opening times of the Loacker Café in Heinfels:

the Café is open every day from 9 am to 6 pm.

It remains closed on: 1^st Jan, 1^st Nov, 25^th Dec.

2)     Do I need a toll sticker/ vignette driving in Austria? You don’t need a vignette to get to the Loacker Café. A Vignette is only required on Austrian motorways.

3)     Is there a possibility to park my bicycle in front of the Loacker Café.

Yes, there are various areas where you can leave your bike.

4)    How long do I need to go from San Candido to the Loacker Café by bike?

It takes you approximately 1 hour. We recommend calculating ½ an hour more, if you need to rent a bike. This depends mostly on the season and the time when you start.

5)     Is there a parking area for buses/cars?

yes, there is a big parking area for buses and cars right in front of the building.

6)     Can I park my camper over night on the Loacker parking area?

We are sorry, but the parking area is only open to the public during the opening hours of the Café (from 9 am to 6 pm)

7)    What is the nearest train stop

Coming from San Candido (Italy) get off at Panzendorf (train stop on request) ⇉ cross the bridge and follow the path along the river (approx. 10 min by foot)

Coming from Lienz (Austria) get off at Tassenbach ⇉ cross the bridge and follow the river (approx. 15 min walking distance).

8)     Why can’t I see the appointments of the Pastry Workshop for a longer period of time?

The appointments get planned continuously and can be booked in advance for a maximum of 3 months.

9)     How long does the pastry workshop last? The workshop lasts 1 hour.

10)  How long before should I present myself for the pastry workshop?

Please make sure to be punctual as the workshops always start on time. We recommend to come at least 5 minutes in advance and wait for your guide in the entrance hall of the Loacker Café, at the reception.

11)  Can I bring my pet to the Pastry Workshop?

We are sorry, but pets are not allowed in the whole Loacker building due to hygiene regulations in the food sector.

12)  Can I accompany my children to the pastry workshop?

yes, you can accompany your children and help them during the workshop. Alternatively, if your child can work on its own, you can assist to the workshop from outside.

13)  Is there a playground for children?

yes, there is a small playground right in front of the Café, near the terrace.

14) What can I do in the Loacker Café?

In addition to the café you can visit the Loacker brandstore and choose from a variety of more than 200 different Loacker products.

The World of Goodness is a free exhibition on the first floor that gives you the most interesting information on the company.

15) What can I do in the surroundings?

You can visit Burg Heinfels, 10 walking minutes from the Loacker Café. Open from May to November. Guided tours are available on reservation: Home - Burg Heinfels (burg-heinfels.com)
